In common with many other AROC local Sections, the Yorkshire Section routinely organises a diverse calendar of events for our local Members to enjoy and participate in.

There’s still a lot more events planned for our local members to enjoy in 2012!

Christmas Dinner.

Yorkshire Section Christmas Meal at The Buckles Inn proved to be an excellent night. Although the present proprietors at Buckles had not cooked a Christmas Dinner for such numbers before, the meal was enjoyed by everyone and a credit to the chef.

The Christmas quiz proved very popular and amusing given the unlikely nature of some of the answers. Thank you to Mike & Linda for the kind donation of suitable prizes.

FIAT Christmas Dinner & Scenic Run

Those who attended the FIAT Owners Club Christmas dinner and Scenic run had a really good time. The new scenic run took place in poor weather but did not detract from the splendour of the North York Moors or the excellent refreshment stop.

The Yorkshire section managed to win the Christmas Quiz in a ‘tie break’ situation. This was due entirely to Colin’s extraordinary knowledge of obscure Christmas songs sung by German artists.
