In common with many other AROC local Sections, the Yorkshire Section routinely organises a diverse calendar of events for our local Members to enjoy and participate in.
There’s still a lot more events planned for our local members to enjoy in 2010!



Looking back on the year so far, we’ve taken part in and organised a good many events to celebrate Alfa Romeo’s centenary year.
We started off proceedings with a visit to see our friends and colleagues from the West Midlands Section back March, when we enjoyed a scenic drive and Sunday lunch in and around the Brownhills area courtesy of mine hosts Liz and Andrew Christie.
We followed this with a visit to Spring Alfa Day in the impressive environs of Burghley
House near Peterborough in April for our Club’s national season-
It was a pleasure to host our Club’s next national event in our region here in York
city centre in May. In collaboration with City of York Council, and with main event
sponsorship from Piccadilly Motors, Giorni Alfa Centenario di York transformed the
streets into a sort of ‘Little Italy’ with a spectacular display of 100 Alfa Romeos
from all eras along with an Italian-
