Extra attractions now confirmed for Yorkshire Alfa Day!
We’re pleased to announce that there’ll be even more to see at Yorkshire Alfa Day at The Yorkshire Air Museum in Elvington near York.
Our event will now be kindly sponsored by JJB Motors, Yorkshire’s newest independent Alfa Romeo Specialists, and there’ll be a display of brand new Alfa Romeo models provided by Dews Garage of Brighouse. The venue has also now confirmed that there’ll be a flypast by a vintage Tiger Moth (subject to prevailing weather conditions) and, especially for us, the jet engines of a mighty Blackburn Buccaneer will be started up and run at full chat, which will surely be a sight and sound to behold!
Sunday June 15th is Yorkshire Alfa Day. Quite simply the largest gathering of Alfa Romeos in the north of England! Full details here
Section Meetings 2008
At the suggestion of our local members, for 2008 we've elected to hold our monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at a single, central location at The Falcon Inn at Tadcaster. We shall no longer be meeting as a Section at our previous venue, The Duke of York. Full details of the venue can be found on our Section Meetings page here.
Section Polo Shirts now available
Our new exclusive limited edition Section Polo Shirts are available now in Royal Blue with our new Section logo on the left breast and Alfa Romeo script on the right sleeve. These are quality items in heavyweight pique material in a range of sizes from M to XXL. Please ring or email us for availability.
Summer Alfa Day 2008
We are still trying to negotiate with our chosen venue in order to finalise our plans for Summer Alfa Day, provisionally scheduled for Sunday 3rd August. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR MORE DETAILS.
